Luke Brosterhous

Luke, a Class A PGA Memer, hails from The Pacific Northwest and is a graduate of University of Oregon. Fecently received a Masters in Sport Psychology at the University of Utah. Luke is a highly skilled professional player, competing on several various mini-tour event-sponsored professional golf tournaments as well as local and regional sanctioned professional golf events. In 2006, Luke visited the Kingdom of Bhutan as a guest golf coach for the Bhutan Youth Golf Association. Luke is the Head Professional and DIrector of Instruction at Haymaker, creating and sustaining all Instructional Programs offered at Haymaker.

Tom Taylor
Director of Golf

Teaching the game of golf to all levels of players has been a passion of Tom's for many years. Having used many techniques to engage the student in learning the fundamentals of their own swing has been his focus for the past several years. Tom believes that if each individual knows their abilities and weaknesses they can identify and improve their golf game with practice. Using a very basic and calm approach to teaching his students, Tom has instructed many students in the Yampa Valley. Along with teaching Tom enjoys competitions throughout the state at many different levels. Tom is the Director of Golf for Haymaker. |

Scott Matthews
Apprentice Golf Professional |
Scott begins his 5th season as Apprentice Golf Professional, and 4th as First Assistant Golf Professional. The Michigan native brings a strong golf operations managerial background as Director of Golf and Head Golf Professional for two years at the Steamboat Golf club. As a golf instructor, Scott's greatest asset is his passion for his students to improve their ball-striking and the ability for them to have fun doing it. When Scott feels the urge to surround himself with skilled professional golfers, he takes to the links as mentor and support for his younger brother, currently playing on several established Professional Golf Tours, qualifying for the 2007 U.S.Open Golf Championship at Oakmont, and most recently, the 2010 Puerto Rican Open, and Honda Classic . Scott enjoys all aspects of his professional responsibilities at Haymaker, especially helping others improve their golf games. |
